Enchant Tiers
Enchants are divided into 6 tiers. Higher tiers cost significantly more XP to purchase from the enchant menu but offer more powerful effects.
| Tier | Count | XP Cost | Max Per Item |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 9 | 400 XP | 7 |
| Uncommon | 11 | 800 XP | 7 |
| Rare | 23 | 2,500 XP | 7 |
| Epic | 17 | 5,000 XP | 7 |
| Legendary | 23 | 25,000 XP | 7 |
| Mythical | 11 | 200,000 XP | 7 |
Dust System
The dust system provides a way to boost your enchant success rates and recycle unwanted books. Understanding how dust works is essential to efficient enchanting.
Secret Dust
Obtained by salvaging enchant books using /salvage. Each book yields 1 Secret Dust, which is then revealed as one of two types:
- 50% chance: Failed Dust (junk — no use)
- 50% chance: Magic Dust (useful — boosts success chance)
Magic Dust
Apply Magic Dust to an enchant book before using it to increase its success chance. Higher-tier Magic Dust provides bigger boosts.
- Adds +1–20% success chance when applied to an enchant book
- Higher tier dust gives bigger boosts
- Can only be applied once per book
Black Scroll
A powerful extraction tool that removes a random enchant from a piece of gear and returns it as an enchant book.
- Extracts a random enchant from the targeted gear
- Returns the enchant as a usable book
- The gear permanently loses that enchant
Warning
Black Scrolls extract a random enchant — you cannot choose which one. Use them carefully, especially on gear with many valuable enchants.
Forge (/forge)
The Forge lets you merge dust or books to create higher-tier versions. Combine lower-tier materials to upgrade them into more powerful options.
- Merge dust to create higher-tier Magic Dust
- Combine enchant books for upgraded versions
- Essential for progressing into Legendary and Mythical enchants

How Custom Enchants Work in Combat
Understanding when and how enchants trigger is critical for building effective PvP and PvE loadouts.
| Trigger Type | When It Fires | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Attack | When you hit an enemy | Spark, Bleed, Cleave, Lifesteal |
| Defense | When you are hit | Dodge, Ward, Providence |
| Kill | When you kill a player or mob | Decapitation, Devour |
Key Combat Mechanics
- Silence: One of the most powerful PvP enchants. When it procs, it temporarily disables your opponent's armor enchant effects, shutting down their defensive enchants like Dodge and Providence.
- Bleed: A damage-over-time effect that stacks additively. Multiple Bleed procs compound, dealing increasing damage. Bleed clears on death or when the duration expires.
- Phoenix: Triggers automatically on death, reviving you with a portion of your health. Has a cooldown to prevent abuse.

Tips
Getting Started
Start with Common and Uncommon enchants. They are cheap, effective, and let you learn the system without risking expensive materials.
- Save Magic Dust for Epic+ books. Lower-tier books are cheap to replace if they fail, but Epic and above represent a significant XP investment. Always dust those books before applying.
- Black Scrolls are valuable. Use them carefully to extract specific enchants you want to move between gear pieces. Remember: extraction is random, so the more enchants on an item, the lower your odds of getting the one you want.
- Silence is king in PvP. It can shut down an opponent's entire defensive enchant setup. If you PvP seriously, prioritize getting Silence on your weapon.
- Max 7 enchants per item. You cannot remove an enchant to make room for another (without a Black Scroll), so plan your enchant loadout before you start applying books.
- Use the Forge. Merging lower-tier dust and books through
/forgeis the most efficient path to high-tier enchants, especially for free-to-play progression.
Warning
Failed enchant applications consume the book. There is no way to recover a failed book. Always check the success percentage and apply Magic Dust before using expensive enchant books.
