Fishing

PrimordialMC uses the PyroFishingPro plugin to deliver a deep fishing experience. Fishing is one of the 5 professions, capped at level 100, with XP ranging from 20 (Bronze) to 1,000 (Mythical) per catch. Use /fishmenu to open the fishing interface.

Fish Tiers & Rates

Every fish you catch belongs to one of six tiers. Higher tiers are rarer but sell for significantly more and grant more XP and entropy.

Tier Catch Rate Sell Price XP Entropy
Bronze 73.75% $25 20 40
Silver 20% $60 50 100
Gold 5% $300 100 800
Diamond 1% $2,000 250 2,500
Platinum 0.2% $10,000 500 5,000
Mythical 0.05% $50,000 1,000 10,000

Crafting Materials

While fishing you have a chance to reel in crafting materials instead of a fish. These are used at the fishing crafting station (/fishingstation).

Fishing Combat Mobs

There is a 1% chance to hook a combat mob instead of a fish. New combat mobs unlock every 10 fishing levels. You must defeat them before you can continue fishing.

Warning

The last three combat mobs — Abyssal Horror, Tidal Kraken, and Primordial Leviathan — are the toughest and most rewarding. Come prepared with good gear before fishing at high levels.

Fishing Critters

Critters are passive catches (non-combat) that can appear while fishing. They provide bonus rewards without requiring you to fight.

  • Crab: 1.0% catch chance
  • Dolphin: 0.5% catch chance
  • Squid: 0.5% catch chance

Silver60
Gold150
Diamond200
Platinum800

Tip

The PrecisionCutting augmentation adds a 5–40% entropy bonus when gutting fish. Upgrade it early if you want to maximize your entropy income.

Lost Treasures

Every catch has a 3% chance to yield a Lost Treasure instead of a fish. These contain a variety of valuable rewards that can significantly boost your progression.

Possible Rewards

  • XP vouchers and coin vouchers
  • Secret Dust (for the custom enchant system)
  • Enchanted books (vanilla)
  • Item bundles
  • Black Scrolls (extract enchants from gear)
  • Rare fishing titles

Tip

Black Scrolls from Lost Treasures are extremely valuable — they let you pull custom enchants off existing gear to apply elsewhere. Keep an eye out for these drops.
